Owner had experienced sloping floors in an area of the home and requested further investigation into the foundation condition. It was discovered that a portion of the house was not fully supported by a continuous foundation system.

haushepherd worked alongside a local contractor to develop a plan for constructing a continuous perimeter foundation system for the house in the areas where movement had occurred and to fully support the structure.

haushepherd provided necessary calculations to justify the design of the spread footing foundation system and plan drawings for permitting and use by the contractor to build new foundations under approximately 40 feet of the existing structure.

Plans and specifications were delivered in October 2023 and the construction was able to commence with permits granted by the City within the same month.
